Brandon Brice (born April 16, 1983)[1] is an American political commentator and radio personality.[2]
Brice was born in Detroit, Michigan and is perhaps most known as the former Director of Education and African American Affairs for the administration of Chris Christie[3] and as a staffer for former U.S. House Speaker Dennis Hastert.[4] Brice is a member of 100 Black Men of Greater Detroit Inc., a group that advocates for the rights of the local African American community in Metro Detroit. [5]
Brice is a graduate of Howard University where he was the Chairman for the College Republicans, featured in a C-SPAN library video in 2005.[6] Brice has appeared as a guest political commentator on MSNBC,[7] FOX News,[6] CNN,[8] Ebony,[9] BET[10], and ABC News, discussing President Donald Trump's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.[11]
Brice hosts Straight Talk on WDTK The Patriot,[12] where he talks about conservative politics and current affairs.[13] He regularly contributes to local media as a columnist discussing Republican news [14] and was a writer for Hip Hop Republican in 2013, a Conservative-leaning blog site. [15]
Brice began his career as an Associate with the National Urban League's Economic Opportunity Institute, working for the rights of low-income families and was featured on BET's reality TV Show, The Grand Hustle.[16] Brice is an advocate of urban policy. [17]
Brice is a member of the American Enterprise Institute's Leadership Network,[18] and serves on the advisory board of Advantage Health as president.[19]
Brice continues to pursue political commentary and community development in Detroit.
