Brazil – Saudi Arabia relations are the bilateral relations between Brazil and Saudi Arabia. Diplomatic relations were formed in 1968.[1] Both are members of the Non-Aligned Movement, G20 and founding members of the Group of 77.[2] Brazil has an embassy in Riyadh. Saudi Arabia has an embassy in Brasília.

In 1973 both countries opened their embassies in Brasília and Jeddah.[3]

The then Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud visited Brazil in 2000, and former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva visited Saudi Arabia in 2009.

Brazil's exports to Saudi Arabia[edit]

Brazil exported $2.05 billion to Saudi Arabia in 2020. Brazil's top exports to Saudi Arabia were poultry meat ($690 million), raw sugar ($389 million), and corn ($132 million). Brazil's exports to Saudi Arabia have grown over the past 25 years at a yearly rate of 5.49%, from $540M in 1995 to $2.05B in 2020.

Brazil exported no services to Saudi Arabia in 2020.

Saudi Arabia's exports to Brazil[edit]

Saudi Arabia will export $1.76 billion to Brazil in 2020. Saudi Arabia's main exports to Brazil were crude petroleum ($866 million), ammonia ($237 million), and mixed mineral or chemical fertilisers ($219 million). Saudi Arabia's exports to Brazil have increased at an annualised rate of 1.96% over the last 25 years, from $1.09 billion in 1995 to $1.76 billion in 2020.

Saudi Arabia did not export any services to Brazil in 2020.
