Breadwig
Breadwig is the online artist moniker of Bryan Ballinger, an artist, animator, photographer and teacher from Indiana.
Background
Bryan Ballinger grew up in Vermont and has stated that he was making art and stories from a very young age.[1] He graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design with an MFA in Illustration. He earned a master's in Writing for Children from Lesley University in Cambridge.[2]
Ballinger has worked on projects with Microsoft,[3][4] Big Idea Entertainment,[5][6] and Nintendo Power Magazine. He is currently a teacher at a local college[7] and is a notable muralist in the Fort Wayne area.[8][9] He is known for his humorous and strange art. He lives in Huntington, IN with his wife.
Book Career
Animal Gas
Ballinger wrote and illustrated "Animal Gas: A Farty Farce,"[10][11] a 2013 comedy children's book. He is currently planning more books.
Kooky Cookery
Ballinger is also the author of a 2011 series of humorous cookbooks[12] highlighting strange vintage recipes, "Kooky Cookery: A Campy Archive of Recipes From Yesteryear."
Coloring Books
He illustrated and published a series of coloring books as well,[13] made up of many of his patterned pieces.
