Earnest D. Thomas is an American artist based in Seattle, Washington.

Early life and education[edit]

Thomas spent his youth in Hempstead, Texas where he developed interests and art and architecture. After graduation from Prairie View A&M University he worked at Boeing in engineering and management roles.[1]

Career and influences[edit]

Thomas has been active as a board member and president of Onyx Fine Arts Collective[2][3] in Seattle. Thomas's work was included in the "Truth B Told" show in 2017[4][5][6] His work was shown in the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art's "Identities: Past, Present and Future"[1] exhibition in 2019. Thomas has spoken on "CityStream: The ONYX Fine Arts Collective"[7], the city's Seattle Channel, and chosen as artist of the week[8] in Seattle Refined.
