Breaking The Lines is a subscription-based football content creation service that provides users with tools and applications to create self-crafted, curated, football-related media – for their respective followers & subscribers. Content created on Breaking The Lines can range between anything from long-form journalism, original reporting, in-depth analysis, video analysis and graphic media.
History
Breaking The Lines was founded by Zach Lowy and Thomas Anderson, a sports journalist and a software engineer, with the mission of empowering football fans with the aim to "educate football fans worldwide with specially curated opinions and analysis, delicately presented".[1]
Breaking The Lines aims to provide avid football fans with news not covered by mainstream sports media whilst empowering football fans to do exactly the same by providing tools, data and more to continue to create and expand the local fan's love of the game.
Breaking The Lines continued to increase its reputation around the social media football community, conducting interviews with important football figures such as Fabrizio Romano[2], Simão Sabrosa[3], John Herdman[4], Berna Gözbaşı[5], Nigel James [6] (Reece James' father), and more.
In 2021, Breaking The Lines launched a venture collaborating with over 50 community members to create a historic digital magazine [7] covering UEFA Euro 2020.
