Career
Early Days
Born into a musical family, Brendan was drawn to all types of music from the start. While growing up, he began to learn instruments such as piano, clarinet, guitar, drums, and tenor saxophone. In 1998, he joined his first teenage alternative/punk band, Final Warning. Once Final Warning disbanded, he co-founded an emo/punk band, Queen Mab.
Early Recordings (2005-2008)
In 2005, while playing in his college cover band, Brendan began to write a batch of solo folk tunes. These songs became his first EP, Better The Second Time. In 2006, after investing in some recording equipment, he recorded his first full-length album, Listen With Your Heart. The album was mastered by Michael Nau (of Page France) and released in early 2007. In 2008, Brendan challenged himself to write a new song per week. A few of those songs, along with some earlier demos, became his second album, Until We Meet Again.
Low (2012)
While performing in the Chicago-based indie rock band, Bullets In Madison, Brendan began to work on his third album, Low. The album was recorded and mixed by Brendan and collaborator, John Morton (of Bullets In Madison). John also mastered the album, which features Aaron Sandberg (of Bullets In Madison) and singer-songwriter, Gia Margaret.
Lost Along The Way We Go (2020)
After an eight-year hiatus, Brendan released his fourth album, Lost Along The Way We Go, on July 10, 2020. The album was recorded and mixed by Brendan, in his home studio. The album was mastered by Ed Woods.
