Brett Leigh is an American-born actor and film producer. Leigh has appeared in the films The Social Network, 27 Dresses, and Gone Girl.[1] Additionally, he has appeared on stage in the Broadway musical West Side Story and several independent films.[2]
Early life
Brett Leigh was born in Bethany, Oklahoma. He attended Putnam City West High School.[3] Leigh spent one year at Southern Nazarene University before transferring to Eastern Nazarene College.[citation needed]
Career
Leigh began his career on the Broadway stage, playing the roles of "Riff" and "Action" in the musical West Side Story and "Tommy Djilas" in The Music Man.[4] Between 2008 and 2010, Leigh appeared in several short films, TV movies, and commercials. In 2010 he played the muscle man of The Phoenix – S K Club in The Social Network.[5] In 2013, Leigh appeared on The Young and the Restless. Leigh appeared as the "Nervous Intern" in the 2014 David Fincher film Gone Girl.[6] In 2015, Leigh played "Harry" in the Lifetime TV movie The Spirit of Christmas.[7] He is scheduled to portray Jack Lemmon in the 2016 Scott Fivelson biopic Near Myth: The Oskar Knight Story.[2]
In addition to acting, Leigh has directed and produced several short films and music videos. His films have been part of film festivals.[2]
