Brett Charles Sheridan (born March 3, 1974) is an American actor who has been in many national TV commercials. He is most well known for his role as George a.k.a. "Mr. Wiggly" on the web series The Guild.[1]

Education[edit]

Sheridan graduated from Fremont Senior High School Fremont, Nebraska in 1992. He was also a member of National Honor Society and attained the rank of Eagle Scout.

Sheridan attended Doane College in Crete, Nebraska. He received the Zenon C.R. Hansen college scholarship for being an Eagle Scout and the Irene Ryan nomination to the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for his performance in Flow My Tears, The Policeman Said. He graduated with a B.A. in communication in 1996.

Career[edit]

Sheridan's first acting experience was in his fourth grade church musical The Best You Can Be. He performed in numerous plays in high school, and was selected for lead roles in both Hello Dolly and Our Town. During college, he also had lead roles in Flow My Tears the Policeman Said, Hippolytos, and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Sheridan's first paid acting job was playing a juvenile delinquent involved in a high-speed chase in an episode of Real Stories of the Highway Patrol. He played a raver in his first national commercial for PlayStation game Wild 9. Sheridan performed as a stand up comedian for multiple clubs in Los Angeles. He also appeared in the Gorgeous Tiny Chicken Machine Show in 2007.

ACME Comedy Theatre[edit]

At ACME Comedy Theatre, Brett writes and performs sketches for the "ACME Saturday Night" show and is also a member of the Yankee improv company. Brett has performed with numerous actors including Bryan Cranston, Christopher Titus, Gary Anthony Williams, Jamie Kaler, Alex Borstein, Elaine Hendrix, Jai Rodriquez, Robert Forster, Janina Gavankar, Amy Paffrath, Debra Skelton and three of the stars from the popular daytime series Days of our Lives: Nadia Bjorlin, Bryan Dattilo, and Arianne Zucker.

Prior to Brett's involvement in The Guild, he also performed at ACME with Felicia Day, Jeff Lewis, Kim Evey, Greg Benson, and Wil Wheaton.

"The Guild"[edit]

After Brett's son Blake made his first appearance on season one of The Guild, Brett was brought on for a recurring role in season two. He plays George a.k.a. "Mr. Wiggly," who is Clara's (Robin Thorsen) husband.

Other projects[edit]

In addition to acting, Brett also writes, directs, and acts in viral videos, including such series as Waking up with Brett Sheridan and Life’s a Pitch.

Personal life[edit]

Brett has appeared in over 20 national commercials, including ads for Home Depot, Coors Light, Nike, Arby’s, Petsmart and most recently a Ford spot with Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs.
