Brian Penny (born November 22, 1980) is a former operations manager and business systems analyst at Countrywide Home Loans through the transition to Bank of America. He then worked with the hacktivist group Anonymous to orchestrate a leak of emails and documents showing fraud in force-placed insurance.[1]
He went on to work with regulators like the New York Department of Financial Services[2], Federal Housing Finance Agency[3], and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau[4]
Penny became a freelance writer, and his work is featured in a variety of media outlets.[5][6][7] [8]
