Dr. Brian Wesley Peters PhD. (born September 27, 1970 in Los Angeles, California) is an American author and songwriter who has contributed production to Grammy,[1][2] Dove[3][4] and Stellar[5] Nominated Record Records, and is an American recording company executive.[6][7]

Biography

As a child, Peters was heavily involved in the music department at his church where his father and grandfather pastored. His uncle, Jerry Peters, was very influential in his music career as well.

Peters grew up in the Ladera Heights section of Los Angeles where he was personally mentored by his next-door neighbor and former Motown Records C.E.O. Jheryl Busby, who gave him his start in the record business. Throughout his career, Peters has worked on a number of different albums with a variety of different artists including: Angie Stone,[8] Dave Hollister,[9] Mindless Behavior[10] and Brent Jones.[11] Peters is also a published author.[12]
