Briar Prestidge
Briar Prestidge is a Dubai and New York-based entrepreneur, Founder and CEO of Prestidge Group and BRIAR PRESTIDGE - The Label.[1][2]
Early life and career
Prestidge was born in Canterbury, New Zealand. On graduating from University, she moved to New York where she first did waitressing before working in the real estate industry. After a couple of years, she moved to London, working in recruitment. While working in London, as a side interest, she started to do digital marketing and website creation.[3]
Prestidge Group
In 2016, she founded a personal branding agency, the Prestidge Group. It has operations in Dubai, New York and London.[4][5][6] Prestidge started her collection 'BRIAR PRESTIDGE - The Label' in 2019.[7][8][9]
She is also a columnist for publications including Forbes,[10] Arabian Business,[11] Economy MiddleEast[12] Entrepreneur Middle East,[13].
Current career
In May 2022, Prestidge started to show virtual suit collections for women in Metaverse Fashion Week.[14][15] That same year, she spent 48 hours non-stop in virtual reality and metaverse platforms and produced a documentary about her experiences called "48 Hours in the Metaverse".[16]
She is the advisory board member of Metaverse Fashion Council Board.[17][18]
Prestidge works as a mentor with The Founder Institute, TiE and USA Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative.[19]
