Brigada Group of Companies is a Philippine conglomerate with interests in the tri-media, retail, product distribution, security services, and tourism.[1][2][3][4]

History[edit]

In 2005, former Bombo Radyo General Santos personality Elmer Villegas Catulpos started a tabloid named Brigada Tolendoy Health and Tips in General Santos. His business further expanded from a tabloid to a tri-media company.[5][6]

In 2020, five workers of Brigada News were infected by COVID-19.[7]

Social involvement[edit]

KaBrigada Foundation, Inc. is the corporate social responsibility arm of the Brigada Group of Companies. The foundation focuses on four aspects of advocacy: environmental preservation, health, hunger alleviation, promotion of family values, and livelihood assistance.[8]
