Brightline is an American healthcare company located in San Mateo, California. They specialize in telehealth pediatric behavioral health services.[1][2]
History[edit]
Brightline was founded under the name Emilio Healthcare in 2019.[3][4] Its co-founders are Naomi Allen and Giovanni Colella.[1][5] Prior to founding Brightline, Allen was the chief growth officer of Livongo Health.[6] The company launched its telehealth services and virtual platform in June 2020.[7][8]
In 2022, Brightline launched its virtual coaching program for parents of autistic children.[9]
In May 2022, Brightline partnered with the nonprofit organization Peer Health Exchange to develop teen-focused materials for its platform and mobile app.[10]
In August 2022, Brightline's clinical research team did a study about the relationship between pediatric behavioral health and parent productivity during the COVID-19 pandemic, which was published in peer-reviewed journal JMIR.[11][12]
Brightline operates in all US 50 states.[13][14][15] As a pediatric behavioral health company, Brightline works only with children and teens.[16]
Brightline was named one of Fast Company’s 2022 Most Innovative Companies and one of Fierce Healthcare's 2022 Fierce 15.[17][18]
