Brittany Gilman (born August 8, 1982) is an American former professional athlete and sports agent.[2] She is the founder and CEO of BG Sports Enterprises.[3]

Early life and education[edit]

Gilman was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado. Hailing from an athletic family, Gilman began skiing at a very young age and competed in the USSA U14 Prater Cup at the age of 11.[4] She later began snowboarding and was competing on the Professional Halfpipe circuit by age 17.[5][6] She was a member of the US Junior Olympic Snowboard Team in 2002 as well as held multiple snowboard sponsors including Never Summer, Bolle, 686, and Tech Nine.[7][8] As a child, Gilman starred in several commercials for Powderhorn Ski Resort and the local television show for children, "Really Short Show" for the Dinosaur Museum of Grand Junction.

Gilman attended the University of Colorado Boulder, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and was a member of the CU Ski and Snowboard Team. She was a strength and conditioning coach graduate assistant at Auburn University where she completed her Masters in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Biomechanics.[2]

Career[edit]

Gilman worked for USC Football in 2005–2006 as a strength and conditioning coach intern during the tenure of head coach football coach Pete Carroll.[3][9][10] Many players from this time went on to play in the NFL including Reggie Bush, Lendale White, Clay Matthews, Matt Leinert, Frostee Rucker, Deuce Lutui, and Mark Sanchez.

During her time at Auburn University as a graduate assistant strength coach, Gilman was responsible for the training programs for the Women's Tennis Team, Men and Women's long distance Track/Cross-Country, Men and Women's Diving, as well as several professional athletes.[2]

After completing her master's degree from Auburn, she returned to Los Angeles and founded BG Sports Enterprises, a sports marketing agency in 2007.[11][12] Gilman became a registered US Soccer Intermediary in 2019.[13]

The agency has represented and worked with NFL players including Joshua Norman, Ronnie Hillman, Roman Harper, Antoine Bethea, Ezekiel Elliott, Tarell Brown, Jermon Bushrod, Jeremy Kerley, Garrett Hartley, Jonathan Casillas, Darren McFadden, Tracy Porter, Stevenson Sylvester and others. [14] The agency has worked with UFC athlete Kamaru Usman, Professional Snowboarder and Olympian JJ Thomas, and Professional Soccer athletes Michael Essien, Britt Assombalonga and others.

In 2008, she appeared on the reality show Wipe Out.
