Bro Code is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action comedy film written and directed by Karthik Yogi and produced by Ravi Mohan under his newly established production company Ravi Mohan Studios.[1]The film stars Ravi Mohan, S. J. Suryah, Arjun Ashokan (in his Tamil debut), Sri Gouri Priya, Shraddha Srinath and Malavika Manoj in lead roles.
The film was officially announced in June 2025 under the tentative title RM36, as it is the 36th film for Ravi, as the lead actor, and the official title was announced in June 2025.[2]Principal photography commenced in September 2025. It was shot in locations including Chennai and Hyderabad. The film has music composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, cinematography handled by Kalaiselvan Sivaji and editing by Pradeep E. Ragav.
Bro Code is scheduled to release in theatres on 2026.
Premise
Bro Code follows a group of friends navigating the humorous challenges of married life and friendship. Set against the backdrop of lively social gatherings, the film highlights their camaraderie, banter, and loyalty as they stick to their unspoken "bro code".

Production
Development
Bro Code was officially announced in June 2025 as a Tamil-language action comedy, written and directed by Karthik Yogi, who is known for films like Dikkiloona and Vadakkupatti Ramasamy.[3] The film marks the production debut of actor Ravi Mohan under his banner Ravi Mohan Studios.[4] It is described as a stylized action-comedy aimed at a pan-Indian audience.[4]The technical team consists of music composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar, cinematographer Kalaiselvan Sivaji, editor Pradeep E. Ragav and art director A. Rajesh.
Casting
Ravi Mohan plays the lead role in his 36th film as an actor.[5] S. J. Suryah was signed to play a major role alongside Ravi Mohan.[4] Other cast members include Arjun Ashokan, Sri Gouri Priya, Shraddha Srinath and Malavika Manoj, Adithya Kathir, Upendra Limaye, Aishwarya Raj and Perarasu.[5]This film marks the Tamil film debuts of Arjun Ashokan and Aishwarya Raj.
Filming
Principal photography is scheduled to begin in September 2025, with major portions planned to be shot in Chennai and Hyderabad.[3] The official launch event was held in August 2025.[4]

Marketing
The promo video of the film was released on 27 August 2025 and features voice overs by Pradeep Ranganathan in Tamil along with voice overs by Vasu in Telugu.[11]

Theatrical
Bro Code was scheduled to release in theatres on 2026.[12]Apart from Tamil, it was dubbed and released in the Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
