The Brothers Keepers gang was founded by Gavinder Grewal sometime in the year 2017. Immediately after the group's emergence would it come into direct conflict with rival gangs, including the Red Scorpions, the Hells Angels, the Wolfpack coalition, and the United Nations - in addition to numerous other individuals and groups.[3]
On October 27 of the year 2017, a targeted shooting occurred in Surrey which killed Randeep "Randy" Kang, a former associate-turned-rival of the Brothers Keepers gang. Randy's brother, Gary, was also shot but survived the attack.
The triggerman behind the Randy Kang homicide would later be identified as Tyrel Hieu Nguyen Quesnelle, a loyal member of the Brothers Keepers.[4]
Quesnelle would go on to _________ yet again in 2018 when he shot university student Jagvir Malhi to death in Abbotsford.
