Bruce Berman is a strategist, business consultant, author,[1] editor and lecturer focused on understanding innovation and the rights that protect it. Berman is CEO of Brody Berman Associates, a management consulting and communications firm.
Berman is responsible for five books about the intersection of business and IP rights, including From Ideas to Assets,[2] and has written "The Intangible Investor" column for IAM magazine since 2003.[3] Berman has also written for WIPO Magazine,[4] the publication of the World Intellectual Property Organization, which is a self-funding agency of the United Nations.
Berman is a member of the Intellectual Property Hall of Fame Academy.[5]

The Center for Intellectual Property Understanding[edit]
In 2016, Berman founded The Center for Intellectual Property Understanding (CIPU), a non-profit organization. The Center’s board is composed of IP executives, owners, inventors and educators committed to assuring that accurate information about patents and other rights is conveyed to non-IP professionals, including educators, students and journalists.
