Bruce Guthrie FRSE FMedSci is Professor of General Practice at the University of Edinburgh. His research work focuses on multimorbidity.[1]
His prescribing safety research includes basic epidemiology, complex intervention development and evaluation, and working with policymakers to implement change in practice.[2]
Guidelines and policy[edit]
He has worked with guideline development groups (in particular, the NICE) to ensure rapid translation of multimorbidity research into improvements of clinical care.
He leads the £20M Advanced Care Research Centre focusing on later life.[3]
