Brumotactillophobia
Brumotactillophobia is the intense fear or aversion to different foods touching each other on a plate, making mealtime distressing and limiting food choices, often considered a form of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) or sensory processing disorder (SPD). People with this phobia need foods separated, sometimes using divided plates, to prevent cross-contamination of flavors or textures, which can lead to anxiety, picky eating, and nutritional issues, particularly in autistic individuals.
