Bruno Johnson was a fictional footballer who appeared in the comic strips in the British boys' comic Roy of the Rovers during the 80s and 90s. He was a defender, playing for Melchester Rovers. He first appeared in the strip in 1986.

Spotted as a student playing for Melchester University, Johnson was vital part of the rebuilding after Basran. He debuted against Deans Park in 1986.
A powerful and dominant black defender, Johnson was being tipped for international honours, when he shocking decided to retired and return to his studies in 1991.
