Bryan Beamish is an American college basketball coach, currently the head men's basketball coach for the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.[1]
Early life
Beamish, a native of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, attended and played basketball for the Wisconsin–Stevens Point Pointers in Stevens Point, Wisconsin from 2005 until 2009.[1][2] In 2010 he graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science degree interpersonal and organizational communication.[1]
Coaching career
Early coaching career
Beamish's first collegiate coaching job was with his alma mater Wisconsin–Stevens Point as an assistant coach.[3] He spent only one season with the Pointers, during which they won the 2011 WIAC regular season and tournament championships and made it to the 2011 NCAA DIII Sweet Sixteen.[3] He then spent two seasons two seasons with the Saint Leo Lions before joining Jim Larranaga's staff at the University of Miami during the 2013–14 season.[3][1]
Minnesota Crookston
Beamish spent eight seasons as an assistant coach for the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles from 2014 to 2022.[3][1] Then, prior to the 2022–23 season, Beamish was hired as the next head coach of Minnesota Crookston.[3] In three seasons with the Golden Eagles, Beamish has accumulated an overall record of 13–71 (8–58 in NSIC play).[1][4]

Personal life
Beamish graduated from Saint Leo University with a Master of Business Administration degree in sports business.[1] His grandfather, Bob Krueger, was the head men's basketball of the Wisconsin–Stevens Point Pointers from 1962 until 1975.[2]
