The Bucharest Herald was a Romanian English-language newspaper published in Bucharest, Romania. It was founded in 1990 shortly after the fall of communism in Romania.

History

The Bucharest Herald began publication in March 1990 as one of the first English-language newspapers in post-communist Romania. It was established to provide news and information about Romania to English-speaking expatriates, diplomats, and businesspeople in Bucharest. The newspaper was published weekly and covered local and national news, politics, business, culture, and events in Bucharest. It had a circulation of around 5,000–10,000 copies at its peak in the mid-1990s.
