Buddhadeb Halder
Buddhadeb Halder (Bengali, Kolkata, born 20 January 1988 in Konnagar, Hooghly) is a well-known poet of the Bengali younger generation. He won the Krisnashis Sahitya Award (West Bengal, Durgapur) in 2013 as a prominent poet of the second decade. He has come with a grunge attitude in Bengali literature. He was deeply inspired by his elder brother Sukumar Halder.
Work
His first book 'Gacheder bio-data' was published in 2015 at the International Kolkata Book Fair, which was much studied and criticised poetry book. It was much popular among teenagers.
