BUENO Systems[1] (also known as Bueno Systems, Bueno or Built Environment Optimisation) is an Australian technology company that specialises in data analytics services and software for the engineering and commercial building industries.

Bueno was founded in 2013 by the mechanical contract company Airmaster Australia [2] as a managed service claiming to fill a major gap in building operational intelligence in Australia, with a stated goal of bringing data analytics into the HVAC industry via consulting services driven by innovation and technology. In 2013, Leon Wurfel was appointed Managing Director of Bueno.
Bueno was a wholly owned subsidiary of Airmaster until, on June 23, 2017, it was announced Daikin had acquired Airmaster.[3] During the acquisition Bueno became an independent privately owned company.
As of March 2018, Bueno employees over 40 employees and has offices Australia-wide, with projects and consulting services spanning worldwide in Australia, U.S, Canada, Mexico and Hawaii.[citation needed]

The company sells data analytic driven consulting services for large facilities, such as shopping centers and hospitals, and consulting services in lift analytics, car parking analytics, CCTV analytics, IOT Technology implementation and also data services for Energy, Water and Gas Metering.
Awards[edit]
In 2015, Energy Manager Today Awards awarded Bueno with the Project of the Year Award for the project implemented Crown Casino in Melbourne.[4]
In 2015, The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (RACCA) awarded Leon Wurfel as The Industry Rising Star Award.[5]
In 2016, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Building Service (ARBS) awarded Leon Wurfel with the YOUNG ACHIEVER Award.[6]
In 2016, Energy Efficiency Industry awarded Leon Wurfel as Young Energy Efficiency Professional Award.[7]
In 2017, Climate Alliance awarded Bueno with the Innovator/Exporter of the Year Award.[8]
In 2018, Crown Sustainability Awards awarded Bueno both the Contractor of the Year and Excellence in Environmental Sustainability.
