History
ZendIT was founded in Brisbane by Matt Crossan, an Irish-born electrical tradesman and entrepreneur.[2] Crossan was recognised in 2025 as a finalist in the inaugural 40 Under 40 QLD awards, highlighting his role in establishing both ZendIT and its sister construction business, Cosmic Group.[3][4]
Technology
ZendIT’s platform uses artificial intelligence to monitor and manage wind turbine delivery and installation. The software combines field data, timesheet reporting, and safety inspections into a single system designed to improve coordination between on-site and office teams.[1] A mobile application allows technicians to log issues and progress updates in real time. The mobile app is available on the app store.[1]
Recognition
In 2025, ZendIT placed second in the Start-up Innovation Challenge at the Australia Wind Energy (AuWE) conference in Melbourne.[5] The company is also a corporate member of the Australian Institute of Energy.[6]

ZendIT has exhibited at industry conferences including the Asia Pacific Wind Energy Summit hosted by the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC).[7]
