Buhungiro Forest Reserve
It is a natural forest located in Kyegegwa district in western Uganda, East Africa. It covers 10.53 km2 [1] and it is protected and operated by National Forestry Authority. The reserve is situated in the nearby villages of Kaziizi A, Kirungu, Katamba, Ngangi, Kibuga, Kabundeire, and Igunda B.
Setting and structure
Buhungiro Forest reserve is situated at Latitude 0.4787° or 0° 28′ 43 ″ North and Longitude 30.9428° or 30° 56′ 34″ East. It is also known as a hiking ground[2]

Conservation
Buhungiro Forest reserve is a protected forest reserve operated by National Forestry Authority, an entity that manages central forest reserves by demarcating and re-surveying them on behalf of the government of Uganda[3]
