Bernice "Bunny" Levine (born December 22, 1928) is an American actress and former librarian. In her career that spanned than 30 years, she portrayed ladies, grandmothers, nuns, relatives and busybodies, almost invariably to comic effect.[1]
Life and career[edit]
Bunny Levine was born as Bernice Levine on December 22, 1928 in East Orange, New Jersey, United States. In her birthplace she attended East Orange High School in East Orange, New Jersey. Lately she studied economics, drama, and psychology at Washington State University. She began her career as a magazine printer in a library[2], afterwards she appeared in numerous TV commercials.[3]
In 1988 she played her first role as Ruby in Slime City[4] (1988). Later she played many characters in some TV and Short movies such as Gasline (2001), Sara Goes to Lunch (2004), Bad Hair Day (2006), Deal with It... (2007) and Buds (2020). She also appeared in various television series, almost invariably playing comic character such as Everybody Loves Raymond[5] (2004), Ugly Betty (2007), Gary Unmarried (2008), 2 Broke Girls (2011), Have You Met Miss Jones? (2012–2013), Friends with Better Lives (2014) and Fuller House (2018).[3]
Personal life[edit]
Bunny Levine married Bernard Levine from 1949 until his death in 2003[6], they had 3 children. She resides in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, California.[7]
