Chelsea Brummet

Chelsea Jean Brummet (born January 28, 1987) is an American actress and singer. She was discovered by All That producers when they held a nationwide talent search in 2000.[1] In 2002 she was cast in What I Like About You.[citation needed]

Life

Once Brummet finished high school, she went into fashion design at the Ohio State University.[2]

Career

When Brummet was young, she performed in local theaters while taking acting and voice lessons.[citation needed] In 2000 she began acting, first gaining recognition for her work in 2002 when she was cast in What I Like About You.[3] She made guest appearances on other shows including Drake and Josh and Gilmore Girls.[4] In addition to acting, she is a singer-songwriter. In 2003 she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for her performance in What I Like About You and later nominated in 2005 for “Outstanding Young Performance in a TV Series” for All That. Her first song was produced in 2007 called Nothing Day, the music video followed shortly after.
