Burak firik
Burak Firik is a columnist and former Mayor of Kewalpur (born 10 March 1950 in Kumari), Nepal.
Early life
He attended primary and middle school in Kumari and completed high school in Kewalpur, Nepal. He then attended to gain a Bachelor of Arts [BA] majoring in English literature, Mass Communication and Journalism from Tribhuwan University, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Press
He attended a four-month training course on ‘Investigative Journalism’, organized by Centre for Investigative Journalism-Nepal in 1975.
Personal life
Burak currently resides with his wife, Rosalinda, in Kumari, Nepal. He has 6 sons and 18 grandchildren. He continues to work in the fields of journalism and media.
