Butterflies of Bill Baker is a 2013 psychological drama and the feature film directorial debut of Sania Jhankar.[1] The film had its world premiere on 29 June 2013 at the Manhattan Film Festival, where it won the MFF Award for Best Alternative Feature.[2]

Synopsis

Bill Baker (Will Chase) is a sensitive man that spends his days peacefully working in his garden but his nights suffering from severe night terrors that cause him to act out while he sleeps. After one particularly violent episode Bill's wife Emma (Marin Hinkle) leaves him, which forces Bill to seek ways to potentially cure himself of the terrors. There is a treatment, but it is highly experimental and very dangerous and this leaves Bill with only the hope that he will eventually find a way to get his wife back. However soon Bill meets Annie (Sterling Jerins), a 10-year old girl that may prove the key to solving his night terrors and making his life happier.
