Byju’s Classes is an India based education company which is a subsidiary brand of Think and Learn Pvt Ltd.[1] It was founded by Byju Raveendran in 2011 and backed by Dr Ranjan Pai and T.V. Mohandas Pai of Manipal Group.

It provides professional coaching classes for CAT, Civil Services Examination, GMAT, GRE and School Education. The total annual student base of Byju’s Classes is more than 20,000.[2]

Common Admission Test[edit]

The classes for CAT was started in 2008 in Bengaluru. As of 2014, it had offices in eight cities in India including Delhi, Gurgaon, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad.[3]It also provides CAT coaching for several college batches such as Manipal Institute of Technology, NIT K, NIT W, VJTI, BITS Pilani etc.

Civil Services Exam[edit]

The Classes for Civil Services Examination were started in 2011 to train Civil Service aspirants. Courses for Civil Service training are also conducted across 8 cities in India.[4]

GRE and GMAT[edit]

The GRE and GMAT classes were started in 2011. The classes in this segment are conducted under the supervision of the co-founder Santosh PN.[5]

School Education[edit]

This course is designed especially for students in Class 7-12. Created by Byju and his team of teachers from IITs & IIMs, this course teaches Maths & Science concepts to students and is a foundation course.[6]
