C.O.W. 牛 are an anonymous German/Chinese electronic music producer and digital art collective with members from Munich, Berlin, and Beijing. They are known for their unique sound involves elements from such genres as hip-hop, cold wave, and electro, though C.O.W. 牛 resist classification into any of these genres.[1] Their music has been also been described as 'future bass/trap'.[2] The group is signed to the established German Label Compost.

The 'strong visual concept'[3] of C.O.W. 牛 involves photo and video art which features 8-bit style graphics mixed with classic and retro movies and tv shows.

The group plays live wearing pixelated cow masks[4] and any press photos of members have their faces obscured by similar cow images. This anonymity of the members focuses attention onto the art and music.[5]
