c3controls, formerly known as Control Concepts Corporation, is a U.S. manufacturer of electric controls and industrial automation products sold worldwide. The company manufactures its products to primarily be sold directly to its customers. Its line of products includes disconnect switches, contactors, overload relays, pilot lights, push buttons, terminal blocks, general purpose relays, and many other similar products. c3controls headquarters is in Beaver, Pennsylvania, where it was founded in 1976 by Glenn Taylor.

Control Concepts Corporation was founded by Glenn Taylor in 1976. Taylor, an engineer at Westinghouse Electric, presented his idea for a new line of Pilot Devices and was turned down. In 1977, Control Concepts Corporation manufactured its first mold and parts and began to sell products to customers. By 1980, the company moved to a facility in Vanport, PA, and began selling products nationwide.
Mid-late 20th century
In 1992, Geoff Taylor (current CEO) joined his parents in the business and started working full-time in various capacities. Following the death of Glenn Taylor in 1996, his wife Carolyn Renninger assumed the role of CEO/President. During c3controls’ first 20 years Carolyn was the Office Manager.
21st century
Geoff Taylor became President in 2001. In February 2002, Control Concepts Corporation was selected by President George W. Bush to announce his tax plan to the nation.[1][2][3]
In 2002 the company changed its name to c3controls.
Geoff took over as CEO of c3controls in 2014 whereas his mother Carolyn Renninger continues to serve as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Senior Vice President, Administration. The company has grown in size and has launched numerous product lines.
Business operations
C3controls is a global company focusing on industrial automation.
In 2018, c3controls started its operations in El Salvador and set up a manufacturing unit.
In March 2019, c3controls started its operations in India and registered as C3controls Industrial Automation India Private Limited.
