Daksha is the annual arts festival of College of Engineering Karunagappally, begun in 2003 with the tagline Explore, Experience, Embrace.

Daksha has been conducted annually. Daksha provides an open platform for all CEKians to showcase their talents. Daksha hosts a variety of cultural events and competitions which include music, dance, literary arts, photography and quizzing. The fest also hosts talks and proshows with celebrities. Over the 14 years since its first edition, the fest grew into one of the best arts festivals among government engineering colleges.

History

The annual arts festival of CEK started during the year 2003 as the initiative of the 2002–2006 batch of Computer Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics Engineering students. The first edition was held at a community hall in Karunagappally. The second edition was held at the Kallada irrigation project godown in Karunagappally.
