Daksha is the annual arts festival of College of Engineering Karunagappally, begun in 2003 with the tagline Explore|Experience|Embrace
Daksha has been conducted annually. Daksha provides an open platform for all CEKians to showcase their talents. Daksha hosts a variety of cultural events and competition which include music, dance, literary, photography and quizzing . The fest also hosts talks and proshows with celebrities. Over the 14 years since it's first edition, the fest grew into one of the best arts festival among government engineering colleges.
History[edit]
The annual arts festival of CEK started during the year 2003 as the initiative of 2002-2006 batch Computer Engineering, Information technology and Electronics Engineering students. The first edition held at a community hall in Karunagappally. The second edition held at kallada irrigation project godown in Karunagappally.
