Biography[edit]

Abazis was born and raised in Athens, Greece and studied Philosophy (BA) and International Business (MA) at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and New York University, New York City. Upon his return to Greece, he published four novels in large Greek publishing houses. Among those are Saranda Kalokeria (Forty Summers) and Apoplanisi (Seduction) by Kedros Publications.

As the Managing Partner of software firm Publisto, Abazis worked with software developers to develop, among others QTales, a publishing platform for children and Story Chaser, a mobile speed reading app. CJ Abazis has completed a Management Certificate from the Sloan School of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has co-created a commercial vessel management system for some of the largest Greek shipping companies.

His latest work[edit]

In 2019 CJ Abazis published under the pen name Constance Sizabwa, The Prophet at the Bridge, a prescient look at a global pandemic and its psychological effects on the students of a campus-at-sea floating university. His work in software and cybersecurity led him to better understand the ethical issues arising from the heavy use of analytics in social engineering. His latest novel, The Machine Murders (translated by his long-time collaborator Kalliopy Paleos) is planned as a data series and is available via Amazon and Audible.
