CX Alliance

CX-Alliance (short: CXA) is a group of companies founded in Berlin in 2024 in the field of Customer Experience (CX)[1]. It unites four brands that pursue a comprehensive approach to customer experience: the consulting and integration company Leafworks, the software startup Knots, the process consulting company Till Freitag Consulting and the event and community format CX Festival. Together, these units cover topics ranging from CX strategy and technology to workflow automation and community building.

Origin

Leafworks was founded in 2017 in Norderstedt by Robert Cwicinski and Georg Winkler.[2] The company established itself as the leading implementation partner of the Zendesk customer service platform in the DACH region and was honored by Zendesk as "Regional Partner of the Year DACH".[3]

In October 2024, the activities were bundled in the newly registered umbrella company CX-Alliance UG (haftungsbeschränkt) & Co. KG based in Berlin.[6]

Brands and business units

Leafworks

The consulting and IT services company specializes in the implementation of customer service systems and the integration of Zendesk into company processes. One focus is on automation, system integration (e.g. CRM, BI) and the development of own Zendesk apps such as the "Attachments Manager"[7], another on improving the customer journey through digital solutions.

Knots

Knots develops Zendesk apps and other solutions for business processes to automate support activities - e.g. PDF analysis, data synchronization or ticket tagging.[8] The company emerged from Leafworks and is now organized as an independent Knots GmbH based in Berlin.

Till Freitag Consulting

Till Freitag Consulting GmbH advises companies on workflow optimization and workforce management. One focus is on the introduction and customization of the monday.com collaboration platform. The aim is to streamline processes and improve cross-departmental collaboration.[9]

CX Festival

Since 2023, the CX-Alliance has been organizing the CX Festival - an innovative industry event for outdoor customer experience management. The premiere (#CXFest) took place from September 8-10, 2023 near Berlin, with around 250 participants and over 20 speakers.[10] Contents included AI in customer service, automation and customer journey design. A second edition ("CX Festival Vol. 2") took place in 2024.[11] In 2025, the format will be converted into a hybrid form of webinar and evening get-together in various cities under the title "Community BarNights".[12]
