Cactus Holdings is a holding company that through its subsidiaries, provides fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, deli, bakery, and dairy products, and is operated by CEO Peter Castellana III.[1]
Cactus Holdings operates in inner city communities of such places as New York, Florida, and New Jersey. The company imports products to the U.S. that their customers are used to seeing in their home countries.[2]
The company claims more than $600 million in annual revenue and more than 3,000 employees, conducting business in 30 retail locations from three wholesale distribution warehouses.[2]
Cactus has more than 2 million square feet of real estate in New York, and its companies include the supermarket chain Western Beef. Some examples of the company's purchases include as a pair of neighboring properties in the Kingsbridge[disambiguation needed] neighborhood for $14 million from seller Tetk Management, as well as a Staples location in the White Plains, New York area for $10.7 million in cooperation with 101 Holdings.[3]
