Cadigia Ali ([Khadiija Cali] error: {{lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help), Arabic: خديجة علي‎) is a Somali-Canadian physician and activist.

Biography[edit]

Ali was trained as a doctor in Italy. As of 2010, she worked as a medical adjudicator for the province of Ontario.[1]

She speaks four languages.[1]

Ali ran for a seat on Ward 2 of Etobicoke North during the 2006 Toronto municipal election. She ended up second place to Rob Ford, receiving 2,010 or 15.8% of all votes. Ali ran once more for a Ward 2 seat in the city's 2010 council elections.[2] She was again runner-up, this time to Doug Ford. Ali earned 2,346 or 13.283% of total votes.[3]
