Cafe De Anatolia is a Macedonian independent electronic music record label based in Vinica, North Macedonia.[1] In 2022, it was awarded as ''Best Organic House Record Label'' by The Groove Cartel.[2]
History[edit]
Cafe De Anatolia was founded in 2017 by Nikola Iliev (Nickarth), Monika Ilieva and Zoran Iliev (Billy Esteban). The label's inception came from a spontaneous idea during a coffee shop get-together in Neboticnik, Ljubljana. During this time, Monika studied International Relations and Diplomacy (later specializing in Strategic Marketing Communications in Slovenia), while Nickarth was involved with the music industry both professionally and educatively in the United Kingdom, and Billy Esteban was working in Austria with rich background in music arrangement and management. With this as their base, the trio established of Cafe De Anatolia, growing it from a startup to an internationally recognized record label.[3]
Cafe De Anatolia has made more than 500 releases, managing over 400 musicians from 150 countries around the world and growing into an internationally recognized music group that promotes and creates chill-out, organic house,[4] lounge, downtempo, progressive house, and ethnic influenced electronic deep house music.[5]
Cafe De Anatolia has collaborated with several artists, most notably Rialians On Earth, Billy Esteban, Stone Submarines, Manizha, Mohamed Rouane, Jelena Tomašević, Foltin, Bacchus, IV-IN, Omeria, Armen Miran[6] and many others.[7] In 2021, the label was awarded best album in Electronic Music in Costa Rica by ACAM for the release of “Oriente” by Jose Solano, released exclusively by Cafe De Anatolia. The label has also been awarded Best Organic House Record Label in 2022 by The Groove Cartel.[8]
The exclusive track ‘’Il Mattino’’ by Anis Karek released by Cafe De Anatolia was part of the Spring/Summer Women Collection 2022 by Giorgio Armani in 2021. The label has also collaborated with brands like Radisson Blu Hotel, GoTurkey, Halkbank and many more. Nikola Iliev and Monika Ilieva are members of the Forbes Council since 2022.[9][10]
