Background
A melancholic blend of two underworlds, "jackdylan" & "dakun" collaborated in the years 2016-2018 to curate their first, ever all-platforms EP. "caffeine & nicotine", most virally acclaimed on Spotify, is an EP that demonstrates the balance of time, consistency, and substance in product(s).
Composition
Wielding two guitars, one electric & one acoustic, the two New Jersey natives networked through Instagram, Facebook, Discord, and Soundcloud to complete the assembly of their EP.
Pulling influences from superstar music prophecies like Burial, Green Day, Blackbear, and Radiohead ~ Brian & Jack created a moonstone of time in synchrony with the progression of the etymology of how "caffeine & nicotine" affects the human homeostasis of love, heartbreak, and understandings.
Recording
A collection of field recordings created the gospel set & setting for the holy communion of God during the formation of jackdylan's 2018 "magnum opus", a collection of work curated, mixed, and mastered by Dakun.
