Caisleáin Óir is an Irish language novel by Séamus Ó Grianna, written in 1924 [1]. It is set around the turn of the 20th century and follows the lives of Seimi Padraig Dubh and Babai Mairtin Friel in the fictional area of Cloghan Dubh in county Donegal. It is written in the narrative present[2].
