Caleb Bacon (born December 22, 1980) is an American television writer and podcaster.
Early life
Caleb Bacon was born and grew up in Albany, New York. He attended the University at Albany where he also worked at their radio station.[1]
He worked for Red Bull Energy Drink during its launch in America.[1]
Career
He is a television comedy writer, best known for the Vince Vaughn-produced sitcom Sullivan and Son.[2] He also hosted Sullivan and Son: Behind The Bar, the official podcast for the television comedy.[3]
He has worked behind the scenes on television shows such as Deadwood, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Luck, John From Cincinnati, Big Love, and Animal Practice.[2] He portrayed a reporter on HBO's John From Cincinnati in a scene with Rebecca De Mornay.[2]
His non-fiction writing has been published by the Huffington Post,[4] LA Weekly,[5] LAist,[6] and more.
He has also been mentioned in Time Magazine[7] and the LA Times.[8]
Podcasting & Radio
Man School with Caleb Bacon, which launched in February 2013, is his weekly podcast. The show features interviews with men about their defining life experiences and how they were able to overcome them.[9]
He has guested on over forty podcasts including the Men's Health (magazine) podcast, the Naughty Show, and the Zane Lamprey Show.[10] On May 31, 2013, Bacon was a guest on Zane Lamprey's 25 hour podcast which set a Guinness World Record for length.[11]
Bacon has appeared on Fox Sports Radio.[12]
