Cambell Kenneford

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Cambell Grace Kenneford (born 18 April 1995, Hertfordshire, England) is a transsexual[1][2] English model and media personality, who rose to relevancy after appearing in media publications, television shows, and on radio stations. Most notably gaining mass media and public exposure in the UK, Latin America, East Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Career[edit]

Modelling[edit]

Kenneford first begun modelling at the age of 14 after joining Rascals Modelling Agency, which led to jobs for Disney, McDonald's, Joe Bloggs and others. Her first modelling job included fronting a skin-care range intended for American billboards, leaflets, and posters. After making the transition from child modelling to more adult modelling she started working independently and had many modelling jobs and features after making this change.

Media[edit]

Kenneford first appeared in UK tabloid and gossip magazine Closer, after being scouted online by Barcroft Media, in which she signed a deal with them, giving them exclusive rights to her story. After appearing in Closer, which failed to bring much media attention towards Kenneford; her story was sold to UK national tabloid and gossip newspaper The Daily Mail, which sparked huge attention towards the 'controversial' story. This gave Kenneford much exposure, and after this, other leading newspapers including The Daily Star and The Sun ran stories on her. This led to her having offers to travel to Europe and other countries to appear on TV, and to front modelling campaigns. She received an extreme amount of media coverage in Latin America and Asia, after countless news stations spoke about her story and many online blogs, newspapers, and magazines included her in their gossip pages.

After the exposure had died down and her contract with Barcroft Media had ended, she was free to set up media jobs for herself. She appeared on Channel 5's Live With... and was interviewed by Fern Britton. She then had a brief radio appearance.
