Since the 13th edition of the festival in 2014, a list of commended films is given in the printed festival program and also on the Cambridge Cinema Shorts website. These films are considered by the submissions panel to be of sufficient quality to be selected but could not be due to time restrictions and programming considerations.

Submission Guidelines[edit]

Film submission is by online form followed by mailing a signed permission slip with a DVD of the film to the festival office. No other form of submission is accepted.

Films can be of any genre. Each film must be less than 20 minutes long. There is no submission fee.
