Camila Buscemi (née Garcia) (born December 13, 1977) is an American singer, actress, writer, filmmaker, screenwriter, lyricist and veterinarian. She is best known as a writer for Pixar Pictures (2001–present) and as the voice of Che-Che (Chi-Chi’s twin sister) in Dragon Ball franchise (2003–present). She is also known as the wife of actor and singer Steve Buscemi and mother of Steve Buscemi Jr. (b. 2001), Charlotte Buscemi (b. 2004), Madison Buscemi (b. 2009), Tyrone Buscemi (b. 2016) and Patricia Buscemi (b. 2021).

Early Life

Camila Buscemi was born on December 13, 1977 in McAllen, Texas, to the script writers Jane Vivian (née Garcia) and Robert Garcia. She loved to spend time with her mother in Texas and California.

Career

In 1997, she graduated from Rowe High School and she and her family moved to California to star in her first film The Impostors (1998). She wrote a film for the first time, Monsters Inc. (2001). She landed the lead role as Viviana in Universal’s film Cool (2002). She provided the voice of the hero Bombay cat named Scarlett in Good Boy (2003). She starred in the role of Sally in the tap dance film, her husband’s Tap Boy (2004) with stepson Lucian, Jimmy Slyde (in his final film), Dianne Walker and Savion Glover. The film was shot from June to September 2003 and released on February 13, 2004. In the same year, she released her first album on Verve Records, Adore Me, Camila (2004).

Personal life

In 1997, she graduated from Rowe High School and moved to meet her hero, Steve Buscemi. On January 3, 2000, following Jo Andres’ divorce, Camila married Steve Buscemi. She has children: Steve Buscemi Jr. (born September 15, 2001), Charlotte Buscemi (born January 1, 2004), Madison Buscemi (born May 12, 2009), Tyrone Buscemi (born December 18, 2016) and Patricia Buscemi (born December 18, 2021).
