Camp Lahti

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Camp Lahti, also referred to as the Lahti Retreat Center (LRC), is an Apostolic Lutheran Summer camp located within Lake Linden, Houghton County, Michigan on Rabbit Bay.[1]

In the year of 1974, a couple, Alfred and Estella Lahti, approached the Franklin Street Apostolic Lutheran Church (now the Zion Lutheran Church of Hancock) and proposed that their property be used as a Bible camp facility. The church approved and thus Camp Lahti was born when in 1978 the land was officially donated for this purpose.[2]
