Campanda is an online marketplace for recreational vehicle (RV) rental.[1] It was founded in Berlin, Germany in 2013 by Chris Möller. Campanda enables users to compare price, location, and vehicle amenities, and book motorhomes, camper vans, or carvans/trailers.[2] Since its launch, the company has worked toward international expansion in 44 countries and creating a trusted platform for RV enthusiasts.

In May 2015, Campanda raised €5 million ($5.3 million U.S.) in its Series A funding led by Ecomobility Ventures, with participation from Atlantic Labs, b-to-v, Ringier Digital Ventures, Accel Partners, and Groupe Arnault.[3][4][5] In January 2017, the company completed its Series B funding of €10 million ($10.6 million U.S.) led by Michelin Travel Partners, a subsidiary of the tire company Michelin. The funding will finance the site's expansion into new markets, increase vehicle inventory, and support the growth of the team of 45 employees in three locations.[4]
