Canadian Burn Foundation

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Canadian Burn Foundation was founded in 1998 to provide support and programs for Canadian burn victims. A primary goal is to reduce the Canadian burn statistics through educational and prevention programs. The foundation also provides computers to burn survivors, allowing them to access the internet for support from other burn victims. As well, it sponsors child and adult victims to attend burn camps across Canada, where they can meet other survivors and relax in a non-judgemental environment.

Canadian Gazette reported in 2012 that the Canadian Government proposed to have the Canadian Burn Foundation's charity license revoked.
