CarLingo was an American online car shopping company.[2][3] The company was best known for its online shopping platform, which made recommendations based on a consumer's attitude and budget.[4][5]
CarLingo was founded in November 2014 by Steve Greenfield, Mark Conlin, Josh Searcy and Chris Tranchina.[4] The company’s chief executive officer was Steve Greenfield.[2] The site was closed down in December 2016.
History
In December 2014, the company started its Resource Center to help car shopping customers with vehicle selection, price negotiation, the trade appraisal, monthly payment and dealership selection.[2][6] CarLingo received first place at the 2015 Atlanta TechCrunch Meetup.[7][8]
