And on the other hand, the accident of a US B-52, while doing reporting maneuvers, causes 4 atomic bombs to fall on its coast just a few kilometers from where westerns are shot at a frenetic pace. In addition to winning various prizes, sales and continuous rebroadcasts on television, it is possibly the most popular documentary of its kind in Spain.

President Sunyol, 70 '(DVD Sapiens). Sunyol was president of FC Barcelona when in 1936 the Spanish civil war broke out. When going to animate and to take money to the republican troops that defended the front of Madrid, he was captured by a fascist patrol, being immediately shot. 74 years after his death, a team of scientists tries to recover his remains in the Sierra de Guadarrama. This is the second documentary that Carles did for FC Barcelona.

I want to have a hardware store in Andalusia, 75 '. Since the mid-70s, Joe Strummer, the former leader of The Clash, was irresistibly attracted to Andalusia. His friends from Granada and Almeria recall his adventures. With the participation of Lucinda Strummer, Richard Dudanski, Jem Finer of The Pogues, etc. This documentary has had a great reception in the various festivals in which it has been programmed. Rolling Stone magazine has said: "An essential documentary to understand the figure of the leader of the Clash".[3] Soon after being released in theaters, it will be edited in DVD and it will be available in VOD.[4]

Stories of Bruguera, 60 '(TV) 90' (edition for cinema and DVD). Editorial Bruguera was an unparalleled phenomenon in Spanish popular culture. Its humorous or adventure comics, its novels or chromium albums marked different generations of readers. More than a quarter of a century after its closure, Bruguera continues to maintain a very vivid presence in popular memory. Several members of the Bruguera family participate in this documentary, as well as authors and former workers of this true dream factory.

Cuchíbiri cuchíbiri, 78. The documentary claims Catalan rumba as true urban pop music. The documentary focuses on the figure of Peret, the undisputed creator and top star of this musical genre created in the Barcelona street of La Cera in the old Portal neighborhood. The work also offers a choral portrait with the participation of rumberos of three generations, starting with those who recorded records during the 60s as Chacho and Ramonet, both very closely related to Peret. Aunt Pepi, who was Peret's children's partner like the Montenegro Brothers, or Uncle Toni, the lifelong palmer, brother of Paló, also have a prominent place in the first period. Peret Reyes and Johnny Tarradellas, who formed the Chipén duo in the years when Peret left music for the church, participate in a second generation. And, finally, last generation rumberos like Lady Gipsy or Miliu.[5][6][7][8]

Eurowestern! Documentary series about the western genre shot in Europe essentially during the sixties and seventies. It encompassed both the so-called spaghetti western and German production films as the Winnetou series based on the novels of Karl May. This series was a kind of spin off of Once Upon a Time in Europe. Despite having a lot of interviews shot, the project never finished producing.

Rebels Rockabilly Barcelona, 80 '. Rebeldes is a rockabilly band that emerged at the end of the 70s. Their impressive directing led them very soon to share the stage with Chuck Berry or The Ramones. In the 80s they got their biggest hits. The materials shot between 2010 and 2012 have mostly been lost. In the 2012 In-Edit Festival, the first half hour of this documentary was shown. Parts of recovered footage have been edited as extras of And I'm just here in passing to tell you that, documentary dedicated to Aurelio and the Wanderers

Call him Jess Redux Based on the materials shot in 1999 with the filmmaker Manel Mayol and the director of photography Pere Ballesteros, Carles Prats fully retraced the documentary incorporating a half hour of unpublished footage. In addition, the original 4: 3 camera format was used. The Fotogramas magazine said on the occasion of the premiere: "The work becomes one of the most accurate approaches to the figure of Franco, one of the most prolific directors in the history of Spanish cinema (his incalculable filmography exceeds 200 films in 50 years of career), and authentic master of the Series B more recognized in countries like United States that, unfortunately, in Spain ".

And I'm only here to tell you that The documentary gathers the story of Los Vagabundos in the words of its leader Aurelio Morata. After practicing an electrifying rockabilly in the initial formation of "Rebels", Aurelio Morata decided to look for a more mature and contemporary sound. That's where Los Vagabundos came from, a kind of Barcelona reincarnation of the Heartbreakers, which was undoubtedly one of the best rock bands of the 80s. But its entry into a major label was like a coin thrown into the air that ended with the dissolution of the group . Thirty years later, they returned to the stage for a historical concert in which they are accompanied by distinguished colleagues: Carlos Segarra (Rebel), Jaime Urrutia (Gabinete Caligari), Pep Sala (Sau), Aurora Beltrán (Tahures Zurdos) or Santiago Campillo.[9][10][11]

Peret and the origin of the rumba catalana At the beginning of the 90s, Peret returned to music after ten years dedicated to the Evangelical Church. He discovered that he doubted that he had been one of the creators of the Catalan rumba and the first artist to record albums of the genre. Peret had bought a Canon camera by 2010 and had shot a series of interviews to document the subject and asked me to finish his project on the true origin of the Catalan rumba.[12][13][14]

Dracula Barcelona In 1969, Jesús Franco and Christopher Lee filmed El conde Drácula in Barcelona. At the same time, Pere Portabella gave an account of that filming, vampirizing it in Vampir-Cuadecuc. Gender and art and essays have never been so close. Dracula Barcelona tells the story of those sister films by interviewing those who were involved in its development. Originally this project was developed in 2010 with the title of Filming Dracula and Carles Prats had agreed to shoot with Jesús Franco in the different Barcelona stages of the film: Poble Espanyol, Tinell, Montjuïc, etc. The documentary began filming in 2017, being the first documentary production of the Filmin platform. Materials shot with Jesus Franco and Christopher Lee were made between 1999 and 2001. In addition to them, they participate in the documentary Jack Taylor, Teresa Gimpera, Artiro Marcos, Jeannine Mestre, Pere Portabella, Annie Settimó or Serena Vergano. [15][16][17][18]

Joan Fontcuberta. The Remains of Photograpy (In production). In the spring of 2016 the photographer Roger Grasas proposes Carles Prats to make a documentary about Joan Fontcuberta. Filming begins in the autumn of that year and lasts until the spring of 2018. The idea is to show Joan Fontcuberta from the two main axes on which he has built his work: to question photography as a method of objectively capturing reality , something that has developed in some of his most celebrated exhibitions such as Fauna secreta or Sputnik and essays like The Kiss of Judas. Photography and Truth; and what he has defined as Postfotography and that he has analyzed in Pandora's camera: Photography @ after photography or The fury of images. Notes on the post-photo.

Gone South (In production). This project arises in 2015 when the photographer Antonio Jesús García, who had already participated in I want to have a hardware store in Andalusia, proposes Carles Prats to investigate Jim Morrison's passage through Granada. The director Luis Cerveró joins the project considering that not only must investigate the episode of Granada but the entire trip. Just two months before his death, in the early spring of 1971, Morrison vomited blood. At that time he lived in Paris with his girlfriend Pamela Courson. The doctor at the American Hospital in Neully advised him to rest in a place with a dry and warm climate. That was the origin of a 24-day trip in the style of those of the Beat generation. An initiatory journey in search of satori, sudden enlightenment. A trip practically forgotten. From Paris to Toulouse, Barcelona, Madrid and Granada. Then Tangier and Marrakech. This journey made a lot of sense for Morrison, he pointed to new things. A new life, new works to write. After two years of research, the first filming takes place at the beginning of 2018.
